“Cantavamo e ballavamo sui gradoni rossi della Nord, già ebbri di vino, di una timida primavera e di una salvezza ormai quasi garantita, mentre l’Udinese vinceva 3 a 0 contro la Cremonese, rivale diretta, al 66imo minuto della penultima di campionato. Poi come in un incubo tutto accadde velocemente. In 17 minuti la Cremonese segna 3 gol ed agguanta un pareggio che condanna l’Udinese a giocarsi la salvezza a Torino contro la Juve, nell’ultima di campionato.
Domenica 1 Maggio 1994. Chini sugli ultimi libri di scuola, con la partita alla radio ed il Granpremio alla tv. Per l’Udinese, non c’è storia, perde 1 a 0 e sprofonda in B, mentre da Imola giungono le terribili notizie sulla sorte di Senna. Domenica orribile.”
Nonostante la delusione, con lo stesso entusiasmo aspettammo la nuova campagna abbonamenti, con la convinzione di tornare subito in A e la speranza che un nuovo ciclo si potesse aprire e di raggiungere nuovi inediti successi.... non ci sbagliavamo.”
Il Gruppo Berlino Udinese nasce nella città da cui prende il nome per conto di “vecchi” tifosi che mai hanno abbandonato la loro passione per la maglia bianconera.
Per sua stessa natura ed origine il Gruppo Berlino ha amici di qualunque provenienza, sia in Italia che nel Mondo e pertanto non è contro nessuno. Ben consapevoli che le rivalità e gli sfottò sono una sana componente integrante del tifo calcistico, tuttavia non accettiamo alcuna forma di violenza, né fisica, né verbale. Cori, striscioni, atteggiamenti e commenti razzisti sono scorie tossiche di un passato da archiviare definitivamente.
È un gruppo aperto a tutti, di ogni orientamento sessuale, religione, età ed origine. Ci unisce un’unica fede… quella bianconera.
A prescindere dalla proprietà, dalle dinamiche economiche del calcio moderno, noi restiamo convinti che, come dice Marcelo Bielsa, "Essenzialmente il calcio è di proprietà del popolo” e come tale dovrebbe essere veicolo di socialità, convivialità e promotore di una idea di comunità che si sviluppi attorno ad esso.
A scanso di equivoci, siamo un gruppo assolutamente a-partitico, con un infinito amore per il calcio e per la nostra squadra. Fuarce Udin!

“We were singing and dancing on the red steps of the Curva Nord, already drunk on wine, on a shy spring, and on a safety that seemed almost assured, while Udinese were winning 3–0 against Cremonese, a direct rival in the relegation battle, in the 66th minute of the penultimate match of the season.
Then, like in a nightmare, everything happened quickly. In 17 minutes Cremonese scored three goals and clawed back a draw that condemned Udinese to fight for survival in Turin against Juve, on the final day of the season.
Sunday, May 1st, 1994. Bent over our last schoolbooks, with the match on the radio and the Grand Prix on TV. For Udinese there was no story: they lost 1–0 and sank into Serie B, while from Imola came the terrible news about Senna’s fate. A horrible Sunday.
Despite the disappointment, with the same enthusiasm we awaited the new season-ticket campaign, convinced we would return immediately to Serie A and hoping that a new cycle could begin and lead to new, unprecedented successes… we were not wrong.”
The Berlin Group Udinese was founded in the city from which it takes its name by “old-school” supporters who have never abandoned their passion for the black-and-white shirt.By its very nature and origin, the Berlin Group has friends from every background, both in Italy and around the world, and for this reason it stands against no one. Fully aware that rivalries and banter are a healthy and integral part of football support, we nevertheless reject any form of violence, whether physical or verbal. Racist chants, banners, behavior, and comments are toxic remnants of a past that must be consigned to history once and for all.This is an open group, welcoming people of every sexual orientation, religion, age, and origin. What unites us is a single faith… the black-and-white one.Regardless of ownership structures and the economic dynamics of modern football, we remain firmly convinced that, as Marcelo Bielsa has said, “Football essentially belongs to the people.” As such, it should be a vehicle for social connection and shared experience, promoting a sense of community that grows around it.To avoid any misunderstanding, we are a strictly non-political group, driven solely by an infinite love for football and for our team.Fuarce Udin!
